Solstice Women's* Circle
Imagine us gathered here, around this raging bonfire, just as the sun sets for the longest night of the year. Image us together, waiting, waiting, waiting ... for the return of the light.
I've decided to put forth a spontaneous seasonal offering. I regret not being able to gather folks in person this holiday season, so am excited about the idea of holding space for connection, learning and some magic online. We have a few spaces left, so feel free to share it with the women** you'd most like to gather with.
I invite us to come together in community (virtually) just before the darkest day of the year, to dive deep into the magic of the season, and to nurture our innately wild and wise bodies. Dropping our awareness through the superficial mind chatter, down into the realm of sensation and emotion, we'll court connection with the voice of knowing within. This is an opportunity to come as you are. Even if that inner world feels filled with anxiety and worry, or depression and apathy, or rage and terror. Bring it. This is juicy and rich material to work with, and we'll talk about safely allowing space for intense emotions/experiences and when and how to regulate and tend the nervous system to avoid overwhelm. It's all necessary. It's all welcome. We'll include guided grounding and somatic practices, invitations towards embodied truth-telling, and some myth and ritual to close the year and vision for the upcoming cycle. This is the season for dreaming - I'll offer some inspiration for beginning or nurturing a dream practice as a portal for inner guidance. Our explorations will take us through the body centres - from root to core and chest to throat, nourishing and listening, tending and learning from our brilliant bodies. Sunday, December 20th from 2:30 pm - 5 pm (PST) via Zoom. Sliding scale $30-60.
Email for registration, payment by e-transfer to confirm. **Our small group will hold a safe space for cis and trans women as well as non-binary folks who are significantly female-identified. And the container piece: For confidentiality, please ensure you have a private space for attendance, so that anything shared in the group is only witnessed by those on-screen. I so hope this resonates for some of you - I'd be delighted to connect! Do let me know if any questions arise. Wishing you enough wellness as this season unfolds, Madison
